About the role
The UK Compliance Manager plays a key role in delivering the Compliance Plan for our UK regulated entity, and effectively operating our compliance systems and controls.This role will be responsible for implementing and monitoring our UK compliance policies and procedures across all areas of the UK business, advising CFC’s internal stakeholders on all aspects of UK compliance and supporting the Head of UK Compliance in managing the expectations of our key external stakeholders, including our domestic regulators (both the FCA and Lloyd’s)
The UK compliance manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service to CFC’s underwriting teams and other business functions, as well as to our carriers and other business partners, including in respect of CFC Syndicate 1988. It’s important that you adopt a positive, “can-do” approach to solving complex regulatory and business enquires, and that you are able to mentor and coach our more junior team members
About you
You are an exceptional communicator, both written and spoken, adept at working professionally with a wide variety of stakeholders, including the board. You have a well-developed compliance know-how, combining strong technical skills, with a pragmatic commercially-sensitive approach to regulatory problem solving.Core Values
