We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to join our growing Growth Marketing Product team in London. Your mission is to lead a squad of Product/Engineering Teams, working with Marketing to help scale impact across organic and paid growth. Be the leader when it comes to marketing tech as well as its deeper integration into Wise core products. You'll work alongside a dedicated and passionate group of product managers, designers, researchers, analysts and engineers. This is a senior role for someone who is driven by business impact and leads a team of Product Managers.
You’ll contribute by leading multiple teams responsible for building:
Wise’s CMSs, acquisition SEO products (tools, services & directories) responsible for driving organic growth to Wise properties.
Growth product teams like Wise recommend a friend programme and price comparison.
Web tracking infrastructure, native app measurement setup, our email and localisation infrastructure, and microservices passing data back to vendors like Google and Meta.
Manage 5 direct reports and setting the overall frame of reference for decision-making in the teams, balancing tradeoffs and ultimately ensuring the team works well and on the most impactful problems it can.
Influencing big decisions in allocation of spend together with marketing stakeholders while being part of the product organization.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Directly contribute to our mission to make money without borders the new normal – you will need to figure out and build solutions so that our customers can move money instantly, conveniently, transparently, and – eventually – for free
Build world-class products: The role is a unique opportunity to build innovative, state-of-the-art solutions with a global impact.
Choose your path to impact – we believe people are most empowered when they can act autonomously. So rather than telling you what to do, you’ll work with your team to create a vision of your own. Of course, you can always gather feedback from smart, curious people across Wise but you’ll have the freedom to make your own calls
Enable marketing channels on customer products by identifying and implementing strategies that improve performance and enhance user experience.
Work with a cross-functional team, including engineering, UX, analytics, content and collaborate with other teams across product departments to drive performance and content initiatives and ensure successful product launches.
Work closely with the SEO business team to identify opportunities to get the most out of SEO and to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
Develop and execute the product roadmap and strategy, including defining product goals, priorities, and KPIs.
Act as a leader – You will build and inspire your own team, but also other teams to contribute to our mission. Inspire teams with your ideas, knowledge and self-starting attitude
Customer-focused – You’ve worked on a product with thousands or even millions of customers, and built a deep understanding of the people who used your product. You’re able to define the impact of product investments you make.
Experience in performance marketing, or ad-tech product management.
You have a demonstrable record of collaborating with both paid and organic marketing teams, and are familiar with the challenges they face in measuring their performance.
You’re familiar with a wide range of marketing technology across both web and app measurement.
Excellent product management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You’re data-driven – You are able to dive into data to identify opportunities and then measure your impact. You prioritise the value you can add to customers, and can get the entire company behind you by telling stories with data.
You have a good technical understanding – help your team prioritise technological investments, tech debt reduction, bugs and new features.
You communicate clearly and logically – You are able to effectively frame problems to influence across the team. You are comfortable communicating with internal and external partners on challenging issues, whether in written format or at sprint planning with the team
You’re not afraid of being a true lead, helping your team with hiring, learning skills you don’t know today to unblock things everywhere needed. You don’t stick to a “by the book” product manager role definition. You get it done
For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.
We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
