We are a new fast-growing B2B prop-tech company looking to change the way businesses and individuals access and use property data. Our customers include property developers, land agents, architects, and planners.
Over the past three years, we have built one of the UKs largest and most complete property data pipelines spanning 1000s of sources, terabytes of data and less than 24-hour latency from source to platform.
Responsibilities
The role will include working closely with the Head of data, to maintain and build upon our current infrastructure. We are looking for someone who keeps up-to-date with the most recent improvements in data-related technologies.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
Managing the data pipelines:
Debugging and fixing failed pipelines
Refactoring older DAG’s to make the system more robust and efficient
Building new pipelines:
Working with the product team to build new data pipelines for new platform features
Becoming an internal “data expert”, someone who understands where the data comes from and how it is reflected in the platform.
Requirements
Essential
Highly competent with SQL
Highly competent with Python
Experience using Data Warehouses
Experience setting up and using APIs
Has created and managed data pipelines in a production environment
Experience working with Cloud Services (GCP preferable)
