The Director of Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for implementing, overseeing, and managing marketing tactics and strategies across Crumbl’s owned channels, including email marketing, SMS marketing, and SEO. The individual in this role drives the creation of customer journeys and leads campaigns that directly impact customer retention rates and bolster brand loyalty across multiple channels.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages and supervises owned media marketing and lifecycle strategy, including customer journey mapping
Drives the building, testing, optimizing, and analyzing of email, push, and SMS marketing campaigns
Oversees Crumbl’s local and national SEO strategy and execution in partnership with an external agency
Liaises with external partners and vendors, maintaining positive working relationships and managing contracts, order forms, and other legal documents
Leads a small but nimble team of individual contributors, developing their talent through effecting mentorship and goal setting
Reports on campaign results, giving key insights and recommendations
Collaborates with other internal teams as needed to optimize customer journeys
Optimizes workflows and automations to boost the efficiency of the team
Monitors industry trends and leads experimentation with new channels and creatives
Qualifications
4-5 years of experience managing owned media including email marketing, SMS marketing, and SEO, preferably in a high growth organization
2+ years of experience leading a results-driven team
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field highly preferred, but not required
Experience using customer data platform Braze highly preferred, but not required
Experience working with external partners and agencies preferred, but not required
Exceptional writing and organization skills
Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter—someone who takes initiative with a natural drive to get things done
Problem solver, able to stay focused and calm in the face of change
Knowledge of email & SMS marketing laws, regulations, and best practices
Up to date with SEO best practices
Experience in D2C and eCommerce preferred
