Outside Service Attendant at River Oaks Country Club

Job Descrption
- Bring tee time carts and “empty carts” from cart garage to cart staging area
- Return carts to cart garage; remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, from carts and saves reusable items
- Wash cart before parking cart in shelter and connecting charger cable
- Replenish all required items on carts
- Keep work area clean and in order
- Set up and maintain:
- main practice tee - 24 pyramids
- back (North) practice tee - 5-10 pyramids
- short game / par 3 course
- 20 brown buckets (5 buckets at 4 different locations)
- Restock and maintain:
- 4 large pyramids in the teaching center
- sand bottle stations at comfort stations on hole #5/#7 and #11/#15
- bottled water / chilled towel station by pro shop
- bottled water station in between teaching center and back tee
- cups, lids, and straws for 2 water stations on main practice tee
- Check tee sheet for new additions and cancellations –coordinate with cart staff before carts are staged
- Double check member bags that need staged for tee times / lessons to ensure none were missed
- Clean clubs before golf bags are put into storage
- Take out club repair trash and make sure bag room area is clean
- Stage tee time golf bags on carts for next day
- Check for any bags left at front security gate and bring them to bag drop
- Clean outside back rack area and inside bag drop room to ensure areas are presentable
- Notify starters or Manager of any bags being dropped off for tee times / lessons to get to desired location
- Assist Members and their Guests as they arrive with loading/unloading their golf bag from their vehicles
- Coordinate with Bag Room to bring Members golf bag to staging area as required
- High School or equivalent education required
- Valid drivers license with good driving record required
- English fluency required
- Previous resort or golf industry experience preferred
- An interest in watching and/or playing golf is preferred
- Genuinely cares about people and is available and ready to help
- Is easy to approach; enjoys interacting with our members and guests
- Skilled at active listening, retaining knowledge and acting upon it
- Enjoys working outside for many hours at a time in most weather conditions
- Detail oriented, organized, efficient and quick learner
- Safety minded, high quality service standards, diplomatic and calm
- Enjoys working hard and seizing opportunities as they present themselves
- Able to learn quickly when faced with new problems and challenges
- Inquisitive; interested in learning about golf
