Join our dynamic NFL Finance team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our media management business. As a key player working hand-in-hand with NFL Media executives, you'll spearhead the analysis and optimization of our four core business units: NFL Films, Broadcasting, NFL Network, and Digital Media. We're seeking a finance leader with a knack for strategic insight and analytical expertise. Your abilities in finance and accounting will drive our financial performance to new heights. But that's not all — your adeptness in people and project management will ensure seamless collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
Provide business and fiscal leadership for NFL Media and its four primary operating business units, function as key financial advisor to SVP NFL Network, SVP NFL Films, EVP Broadcasting & Live Games, and EVP & CBO NFL Media with each business leader.
Partner with finance & operational staff to (1) identify and solve business problems and process inefficiencies, (2) support and help lead strategic growth initiatives, and (3) improve operating results.
Ensure systems, metrics & controls are in place and effective financial processes are maintained throughout the organization.
Direct responsibility for tracking cash flow statements, income statements & balance sheets as well as all planning, forecasting, reporting, financial analysis, and accounting for NFL Media.
Lead finance initiatives within NFL Media (e.g., cash & working capital maximization/management, improved budgeting, department scorecard/metric development & reporting, specific cost management efforts, elimination/simplification of internal allocations/billing).
Drive cross-functional collaboration, fostering alignment between finance, operations, and executive leadership to achieve strategic objectives.
Champion continuous improvement efforts, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance financial performance and efficiency.
Serve as a key liaison between NFL Media and external stakeholders including vendors, partners, and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and fostering positive relationships.
Actively contribute to the development and execution of long-term financial strategies and business plans, leveraging insights and data-driven recommendations to drive growth and profitability.
Oversee development of budgets and re-forecasts, variance analyses, risk/opportunity assessments, long-term planning, financial models, and various periodic and ad hoc reporting.
Required Qualifications
15 years of related experience in finance or accounting
Bachelor’s degree required
Proven leader in achieving objectives and setting direction for a team
Experienced in managing teams across multiple locations
Ability to successfully manage a large team
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
CPA preferred
MBA preferred
Experience with sports media & entertainment industry.
Know how to present financial results and projections in a way that helps senior management maximize opportunities and minimize costs.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
NFL employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. This role will likely require additional hours on nights and weekends. In-office work required.
This position works very closely with senior NFL Media management in analyzing and driving financial performance of NFL Media’s 4 core business units (NFL Films, Broadcasting, NFL Network & Digital Media). A successful candidate should have a superior finance & accounting skill set, solid strategic/analytical thinking skills, excellent people & project management abilities, and a natural ability to work & communicate effectively with senior leaders.
