Salary: £58,348 - £62,540 (66,425 including 3 + SPA) per annum (pro rata if part time)

Fringe Allowance £916

Grade Soulbury B 4-7 + 3 SPA

Permanent 

As a Senior EP for Thurrock, you will be able to develop an area of senior specialism within the service, with protected time for this activity. We are currently seeking specialisms in Early Years and Looked After Children (working with the Virtual School), although other areas of specialism can be discussed with the Principal Psychologist. Through this specialism, you can make a difference by contributing to the development of policy and strategy within the local authority.

As a member of the team, you will also participate in providing a traded service to schools and academies, work with pre-school and vulnerable children, and undertake a range of statutory duties. You will be providing consultation for services and direct support for children, young people and their families.

You will be part of a team of Educational Psychologists with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and to offering the highest quality of person-centred services to children, young people and families living in Thurrock.

As the ideal candidate you will:

· Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist

· A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a Local Authority context

· A commitment to promoting inclusion through your work with children, families, schools and

other professionals

· A capacity to respond creatively to change
