Your Role:
The main purpose of the role is to gather and analyse data to assist the Major Accounts team to improve data integrity, information flow and business activities. This includes collecting information from various sources, both internal and external. It also involves coordinating various project and business activities as required. The role entails working closely with the head of Major Accounts Division to manage reporting requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
Project and business activities portion of role:
• Assist the Head of Major Accounts Division to deliver key strategies and initiatives
• Preparation of monthly financial reports in advance of production meetings to support strategic decision making.
• Support the Head of Major Accounts Division in the facilitation of regular internal and external production meetings
• Attends to and produces general correspondence (verbal and written), emails, presentations and reports as required
• Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings and other events as required
• Co-ordinate requirements for brokers and visiting Managers
• Any other projects or research as required
Data analysis portion of role:
• Collect and analyse data including production results, rate movement and loss ratios. Track against plan and provide regular status updates
• Coordinate and manage data requirements in core underwriting systems.
• Ensure data integrity within systems.
• Convert analysis into useful and easy to understand business reports.
• Identify patterns and trends and recommend new ways to create efficiencies and improve the business.
• Assist with making prioritised list of needs for business improvement.
• Understand and contribute to requirements from operations and finance teams.
• Execute analysis activities & capture detailed requirements from business users and stakeholders
• Collaborate with others to ensure holistic and complete solutions
