Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, Texas. Maintain a system of record for the mortgage team. Research and resolve user problems as well as issues and problems identified during testing. Utilize manuals, write ups and other tools as an aid in solving the problem. Contact others who are experienced in the area for ideas about the problem. Follow escalation procedures, when appropriate, to resolve processing problems and user problems in a timely manner and meet service levels and other standards for the job. Coordinate the testing of applications, systems, processes, and procedures, and/or software changes. Analyze and implement changes or additions to software systems and operations procedures. Train internal customers (employees) on changes, new systems, or new procedures. Identify new tools, technology, or processes that improve the overall processing environment or processing efficiency. Assist in the definition of user problems and needs. Explain solutions directly to users where appropriate. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with the following: preparing technical and configuration documentation for a .Net platform; using Boolean logic to build out system configurations; coding in the following languages: C#, JavaScript, SQL, .Net, Angular or React; experience with Mortgage LOS (Loan Origination Systems), including Empower and Encompass; utilizing project management tools including Jira or Smartsheet; mortgage compliance regulations including TRID, Reg-B, and HMDA; and working with the front to back mortgage process flow including processing, underwriting and closing mortgage applications and creating touchpoints with client and internal team members.
