Controllers Divisional Overview:
Controllers ensure that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution. In the Controllers Department, our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm’s business. Controllers also ensure that the firm’s activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets.
DMR Controllers Team:
The Divisional Management Reporting Controllers Team is seeking an Associate level hire to support reporting for the Asset & Wealth Management Division.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly P&L reports
• Prepare, analyze, and present weekly results to stakeholders
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including analysis of P&L drivers
• Reconciliation of revenue month-end estimates vs. general ledger with accompanying variance analysis
• Aggregate and analyze quarterly P&L projections
• Prepare and summarize segment results / analytics to Senior Management
• Work closely with Product Controllers and divisional strategy teams to ensure overall accuracy and integrity of the divisional reporting process
• Participate in automation projects and leverage self-service tools to improve operating efficiencies and enhance existing workflows
Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Accounting, Economics or Finance degree preferred, but not required
• CPA or CFA preferred, but not required
• Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate ideas
• Highly motivated and adaptable; the ability and desire to work on a global team of diverse individuals
• Proactive; the ability to respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure, changing environment
• Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity
• Keen interest in financial markets
• Knowledge of desktop applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$140000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
