Petershill

Established in 2007, the Petershill business within the Asset Management business partners with leading alternative asset managers and helps to accelerate their strategic development. Petershill’s minority investments seek to support the creation of long-term value by providing strategic capital to enhance employee retention, facilitate business development, buy out legacy equity holders and generate strategic options – while preserving the autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit of these organizations.  Petershill has partnered with over 35 alternative asset management firms to date and has raised over $14.0bn of commitments in private fund commitments.  Petershill is also the operator of Petershill Partners (LSE: PHLL), a London Stock Exchange listed company. 

Responsibilities 

• Value creation of private markets firms across core centers of excellence: capital and product development, business and organizational strategy, and portfolio and fund strategy
• Assess value creation opportunities during deal diligence process; develop and execute on value creation plans
• Build relationships and lead engagements with senior professionals across existing portfolio investments, consulting on ongoing growth and development opportunities
• Prepare presentations, diagnostics, tools, playbooks, modules, and other content for portfolio investments 
• Assist with portfolio-wide engagement strategy such as events, webinars, and insights

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Management Consulting or Manager Selection, with prior asset management experience a positive   
• Experienced research and consulting-oriented professional to join a buy-side GP Stakes Investing value creation team with a strong understanding of private capital firms (especially PE)
• A structured thinker with demonstrated ability to harness information and communicate impactful insights
• Entrepreneurial mindset to help grow and evolve solutions offered to portfolio firms
• Experience preparing industry/company presentations, benchmarking materials, diagnostics, and other process documents
• Travel when required 
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), multi-tasking, and time management skills, capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people
