Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Manage client relationships both with new and existing clients, with electronic foreign exchange (FX) as the top area of focus and a secondary focus on other macro products such as Interest Rates Swaps. Use data to identify and monetize cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base. Continuously work to identify opportunities for new FX clients, using internal data sources, internal networking, and external data to identify high potential opportunities for new client relationships. Confidently market and pitch the Firm’s range of eFICC and eFX platforms (both proprietary and industry wide) directly to clients, tailoring pitches to specific client needs and the platform strengths. Work with existing clients to deliver the firm’s content and help clients optimize their trade flow with GS via electronic platforms. Build and maintain robust systems to monitor client activity, identify changes, drops, and increases in client activity and optimize franchise via platform selection. Troubleshoot all client issues with eFX and eFICC platforms in real time, including assisting in onboarding and operational issues when escalated to the sales team either internally or by the client. Live trade pricing and execution and back-up the voice sales desk.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include four (4) years with: working in fixed income derivative markets, including foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate product (IRP) structures; applying knowledge of the trading platforms (FX and IRP) and relationships with multi-dealer platform providers to guide clients with their understanding of the features and constraints of each platform, including single-dealer and multi-dealer platforms, Request for quote (RFQ), streaming, and algo execution; understanding of all operational aspects of the FX (spot, forwards, and derivatives) and IRP trade life cycles; and working within the regulatory frameworks around FX and IRP trading, applying understanding of which documents are required to trade which instrument, which regulations govern each instrument, and what are the acceptable execution methods for each instrument. Prior experience must include three (3) years with: client relationship management, including onboarding new potential clients and finding new opportunities with existing clients in other products. Series 7, 63 and SIE Licenses required or must be acquired within 90 days of hire. Domestic Travel Required 5% of the time, necessary to see clients.
Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $227,000/year - $300,000/year. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
