Be part of an Integration team to manage internal and external integration activities.

Create and maintain agile, reliable and cost-effective technology solutions as and when required by the business, to business specifications and aligned with Enterprise Architecture policies and guidelines.

About the Role

The  Integration Engineer - A2A role will act as an Integration specialist. They will be responsible for the development, validation and governance of all integration solutions for Viking and its channels. They will be capable of evangelising and advocating integration principles to establish the credibility of the group both internally and externally.

 Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and specification of the core Integration Patterns and services to be implemented by Viking
  • Assure the delivery of the integration artefacts to Viking, ensuring they conform to the design principles, standards and guidelines
  • Develop relationships with customers, internal and external engineering and business teams to gather requirements
  • Promote an agile and flexible approach to Integration design delivery across both internal and external delivery teams
  • Design and deliver Integration solutions with intelligent reuse of existing applications, development/purchase of reusable applications and smart integration methods to drive harmonization

 Your Profile

  • Experience with Agile delivery methods
  • Organisational agility, able to manage ambiguity and effectively problem solve
  • Result driven and ability to work under pressure has a focus on innovation management
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, analytical and technical skills.

 Experience of Technologies

  • IBM MQ
  • IBM DataPower
  • Mule
  • Kafka
