Regions is hiring a Social Worker to work in a casual position in our Emergency Department, working evenings and weekends. The requirement is 3 shifts/month. Come join our dynamic and passionate Social Work team!
This position will work independently, conducting diagnostic assessment, treatment planning and referrals, and determining clinical interventions to patients and families at Regions Hospital. This position will work independently and as part of a team, working effectively with various internal and external partners, patients, families, and physicians to facilitate patient care. The social worker provides crisis intervention, education, and supportive therapies as appropriate within the Emergency Department setting. They work develop a safe transition/discharge plan to the community.
Work Schedule:
Nights only. 3 shifts per month required.
Required Qualifications:
- MSW– Masters of Social Work.
- LICSW Licensure - MN Board of Social Work
- 2 or more years of social work experience in mental health setting and/or health care setting.
