Job Descrption
As a Registered Nurse - Med/Surg, you will manage and provide direct and indirect nursing care. You will be responsible for the direction and supervision of ancillary personnel assigned to patients.
Work Schedule: 0.8 FTE Nights. 8-hour shifts. Includes every other weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Current Minnesota RN license with regular renewal.
- Current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider).
- Those without telemetry experience:
- Completion of telemetry course within nine (9) months of start date.
- Those with telemetry experience:
- Completion of competency validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Previous related health care experience.
- Assessment of care of all pre and post-op surgical/orthopedic and general medical patients.
- Knowledge and care of patients on anticoagulation protocol.
- Knowledge and care in the use of all specialized orthopedic equipment.
