Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team in St. Louis Park with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed.
We are looking for team members to support our growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in our Surgery Center(s). We have a fast-paced multi-specialty Surgical Center. Our team is looking for candidates with a positive outlook and ability to work well on a team.
The Surgical Tech (CST) position practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating, critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity and caring.
Work Schedule:
- 0.7 FTE / Days
- Variable Start Times
- Variable Shift Lengths
- Rotating Late Shifts
- Occasional travel to alternate sites per rotation
Required Qualifications:
- Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs:
- CST (https://nbstsa.org/examinations-cst.html) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.

- NCCT (https://www.ncctinc.com/General/VerifyCertification.aspx) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 36 months of hire.
- Surgical tech experience required (would consider highly motivated new grad)
- Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
- Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SPD experience preferred - Cross training to Sterile Processing
- Currently validated CPR skills or BLS certification is preferred.
