About us
Camden is building somewhere everyone can thrive, by making our borough the best place to live, work, study and visit. Because we’re not just home to UK’s fast-growing economy, we’re home to the most important conversations happening today. And we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.
About the roles
Camden’s thriving voluntary, community and faith sector is at the core of We Make Camden – our shared vision for the borough developed in conversation with residents, partners and community leaders.
We have an opportunity for two Community Partners to join our service and help strengthen and deepen our relationship with Camden’s faith and voluntary and community sectors (VCS).
We are recruiting one permanent Community Partner and one fixed term contract Community Partner (maternity cover). The fixed term contract post will be for a minimum of 12 months. The fixed term contract currently has a focus on interfaith work, however, we will accept applications for both roles.
These roles will involve working to support Camden’s independent voluntary, community and faith sector to thrive and deliver outcomes for residents and communities across the borough.
The roles are broad and diverse, including grants management; organisational development and capacity building; charity funding and financial management; project management; monitoring and evaluation; partnerships and relationship management.
We are recruiting one permanent Community Partner and one fixed term contract Community Partner (maternity cover). The fixed term contract post will be for a minimum of 12 months. The fixed term contract currently has a focus on interfaith work, however, we will accept applications for both roles.
This is an exciting time to be joining the team, as we refresh our strategy and our approach to working with the VCS.
We’d love to hear from you. If you’d like to find out more please contact Rosie Tharp rosie.tharp@camden.gov.uk
