The role
We’re currently seeking three talented, highly motivated Social Workers to join our diverse and highly skilled service. We are looking for Social Workers who are keen to progress and share our values of working as one team and finding better and more innovative ways of doing things within CYPDS.
You will use your experience to work across a varied and complex caseload of children and young people, aged between 0-25 with severe to profound disabilities. The role requires a confident approach to working with statutory, private and voluntary agencies and an ability to identify and apply complex systems and frameworks whilst remaining person centred.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
About you
To be considered for one of these exciting opportunities its essential the successful candidates are fully qualified, accredited social work professionals who hold current Social Work England registration (ASYE candidates, it will be expected that you are registered before you start employment).
You will be a pro-active analytical thinker with a sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. Be a strong and reliable team worker, who brings ideas for service delivery and in partnership with parents and young people.
You will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, ensuring professional social work standards are maintained at all times. And, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with conflict, hostility and vulnerability.
