This role is based within the Technical and Hosting area in BTS. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week.
You will earn a competitive salary of £31,179.34 - £38,950.71 and have access to a range of benefits including local and national discounts for supermarkets, restaurants and retail.
In this role you will be providing day to day operational support within the Endpoint Management team.

We are currently working in a blended working environment with a mix of home working and office days.
The Person
The job requires the candidate to be able to work within a dynamic team in an ever-changing Technical and Hosting environment.
You will be responsible for the support, maintenance and reporting of the endpoint patch management systems within Fife Council, ensuring devices across our Corporate and Education estate are secure and up to date. You will manage large scale deployments of patches and operating system updates.
You will have a forward-looking attitude to change, making sure your knowledge of new and emerging technologies is kept current and up to date.
You will work closely with your fellow colleagues within the Technical and Hosting area ensuing good communication and collaboration. You will provide technical support and guidance to staff out with the T&H area, including but not limited to, High School Technicians.
You will have a proven technical background with previous experience managing or using endpoint management platforms. Experience or certification with Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager and/or Intune is highly desirable within this role.
Educated to SCQF level 7 which includes HNC or SVQ level 3 or equivalent vocational accreditation in a computing/systems or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
You should have experience of working in an ICT role within a Team environment. You should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills. A good track record of technical problem solving and technical delivery across a large and complex organisation would also be advantageous. A driving licence is essential for this role.
