Job Details
In these catering posts at the Lochside Café, Lochore, or Peacock Café, Dunfermline, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP procedures - completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen and it's surround.
We currently have vacancies to join our Commercial Catering Team, in two of our very busy, 7 days a week operation site.
Hours available are between 8 and 36 hours per week on a permanent 52 week contract but will vary according to site - hours and rotas will be discussed at interview.
The working day is normally between 8:00am to 5:00pm as required Monday to Sunday, however, The Glen Pavilion does cater for functions where additional hours may be available.
You will earn a competitive salary of £23,633.23 to £25,829.49 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
Training on all in house systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post if not already held.

The Person
Catering experience or a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
