If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of Cleaners in Council buildings in the Leven Area. We currently have permanent vacancy covering as required Monday to Friday.

Methil Heritage Centre:

• 8 hours per week 52 week contract (2 hours per day Monday  between 7:00am to 8:00pm, between 7:00am to 10:00am Thursday and Friday with one other day between 5:00pm to 8:00pm however this will be discussed at interview).

You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

• We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

This work is about ensuring visitors and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

The Person

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.

Before confirming toyour appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
