Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Officer - Food Safety & Hygiene at Riverland Park. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Conducts, assist and / or facilitate regular assessment and hazard identification activities at different areas of the Park, including but not limited to rides and other attractions, food and beverage outlets, retail outlets, entertainment venues, common areas, office and BOH areas, infrastructure, and other support facilities.
• Identify and propose effective measures to control the hazards and associated risks based on findings of risks assessment activities.
• Formulate and implement regular monitoring system to check implementation of the measures in place at different areas through regular checks and inspections.
• Conduct independent investigation and submit official reports to Sr. Supervisor or QHSE Manager and / or QHSE Department Head for occurring incidences which will include identification of root causes, corrective action plans and suggestion to prevent recurrences and other requirement of the incident reports process.
• Evaluate other reports pertaining to any HSE related incident in the Park.
• Evaluate Park events and impose necessary requirement based on the park standards, regulations, and applicable laws.
• Assist the regular inspections and visits of government regulatory bodies at the Park and facilitate the completion of any requirements and corrective action plans based on the findings of the visit.
• Provide technical inputs on work procedures and practices related to HSE, during consultations of other Departments.
• Create and suggest policies, procedures, manuals, forms, instructions and plans, studies and other HSE documents.
• Monitoring the records and other associated administrative works pertaining to investigation/ incident reports, chemical register, risk register compliance register (licenses, test certificates, lab reports, etc) issuance of internal licensing, permits and approvals and other HSE documents.
• Assist in identifying training needs for HSE and conduct training, induction, and coaching, whenever necessary.
• Work with Food Safety & Hygiene Team in doing regular checks and inspections, coordination with third party sample analysis and testing.
• Work with Medical Services Team for occupational and public health and emergency matters and assist on areas requiring the support of HSE.
• Facilitate industrial hygiene monitoring on indoor air quality, illumination, water quality, noise, and other tests on occupational. Public and environmental health parameters.
• Perform Tasks and coordination activities in relation to environmental impact assessments, environmental monitoring and other programs and studies related to environment.
• Participate in meetings, workshops and trainings as deemed necessary by the HSE Head.
• Participate in the emergency preparedness, response and recovery and business continuity programs as contributors to emergency procedures and evaluators to drills and exercises; facilitating regular checks and inspections of emergency facilities and being a member of emergency response team during actual emergencies when HSE specialist is necessary. 
• Participate in planning and goal setting of the Department done on a regular basis.
• Keep abreast with the rules, regulations, laws, policies, and agreements and update the organization with any changes affecting the organization.
• Suggest new innovations and programs with the aim of continuously improving the existing conditions and work setups, through conduct of special studies, introduction of new initiatives or benchmarking activities with other companies.
• Any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by the QHSE manager / QHSE Department Head.

About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Graduate of an Engineering Degree with minimum 3 years of experience
• Adept with local and Federal Laws and applicable international laws related to HSE
• Possessing Degree or NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma related to HSE
• Worked in similar position with wide exposure in theme parks, attractions, hotels, and resorts, or in any leisure and entertainment industry
