About the Team:

If you’ve answered yes to the questions above you could be the person we are looking for to join our Street Works team. In this role you will be central to ensuring Lambeth’s own road network, are safe and flowing, paying attention to the needs of all residents and road users.
Lambeth’s roads are essential to its growth and wellbeing and to the success of London as a whole. We are looking for someone to expertly draft and make Permanent, Experimental and Temporary Traffic Orders and all associated notices. You will also be responsible for drafting internal notices for events, stopping up Orders and other Traffic Order/Notice related tasks.
You will be joining a team which has a proven track record of network management, innovation and encouragement to progress within the team itself!
About the Role:
The Traffic Order Officer position is responsible for managing the preparation of Orders and Notices relating to Prescribed Routes, Waiting Restrictions, Controlled Parking Zones, Bus/Cycle Lanes, Speed Limits, Stopping up of highways, Road Humps and Pedestrian Crossings and any other that are deemed necessary to regulate the flow of traffic on the public highway.
