PO5: Starting Salary £51,099 pa rising in annual increments to £54,135 per annum incl LW

About the Team:

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a team responsible for the delivery of all highway works related to new development. 

About the Role:

Are you passionate about shaping vibrant communities in the heart of London? Look no further! We’re seeking a dedicated Development Related Works Coordinator to work with developers on highway schemes in support of new dwellings. Manage the technical, financial and legal mechanisms for development related works on either public highways or private highways that will be adopted. 

As a Development Related Works Coordinator, you would be expected to:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and developers.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects related to new developments.
  • Enable seamless execution of works on Lambeth’s highways.

Specialisms:

  • Strong knowledge of highway asset management, construction techniques, and design standards.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, organisation and contract management skills.

  • Operation of a technical approval process for third party applications to modify a Council’s highway asset.
  • Drafting of legal documentation, including S278, S38 & S106 agreements.
  • Managing development related works from pre-application to completion stage.
  • Maintaining a forward plan of projects.
  • Negotiating in a contractual environment.
