About the role:
The Economic Inclusion team works to ensure that residents in Lambeth are financially resilient, able to maximise their incomes and weather financial shocks.
Financial Resilience describes the ability of our residents to be better equipped in managing their personal circumstances effectively and their ability to progress into a more positive position.
The Financial Resilience Officer will provide essential support for key operations within the Economic Inclusion team, including the commissioning, contracting, and monitoring of projects and programmes related to financial resilience and inclusion.
Reporting to the Economic Inclusion Manager, this role will require an ability to undertake all aspects of the commissioning cycle including options design and appraisal, contract management, quality monitoring and critical analysis of data and information related to service delivery; as well as service improvement, monitoring and evaluation.
The postholder will also be responsible for the development of a range of new financial resilience projects and programmes in response to the cost-of-living crisis and the London Living Wage.
