About the Role:
Opportunities have arisen at The Crescent Day service: a service for adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
The Crescent Day Service offers a variety of activities and collaborates closely with our caregivers, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary team members.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to support people to engage in meaningful activities, which will offer quality outcomes for attendees.
We are seeking individuals who demonstrate compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others to maintain a consistently high standard of care and support.
You will be expected to work as keyworker to small number of service users.
You will have good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills to fulfil your role.
You will be responsible for assisting individuals with personal care tasks to uphold their overall hygiene, while also prioritising their independence, choices, dignity, health, and wellbeing.
You will need to have some experience in a day service or social care setting or demonstrate a good understanding of gaining the best outcome for individuals who may have profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs.
With a positive and can-do attitude, you will be integral in supporting the development and promotion of the Day Services.
You will receive consistent supervision and have access to continuous training and development opportunities to further enhance and advance your career in Adult Social Care.
