The Role
As Senior Copywriter you will lead the copywriting side of creative development and production, and work with the designers as part of a creative, idea-led team to bring the P&O Cruises brand to life.
- Write, oversee and manage the creation of persuasive copy that reflects the brand positioning for the defined target market and meets strategic and tactical objectives.
- Lead the creative copywriting function of the Creative Services Studio
- Act in an advisory role for copy and tone of voice as required.
- Working with appointed advertising agency to ensure consistency of creative
- Team manage up to 7 people
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, 12 months fixed term contract basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, a minimum of 3 days per week.
About You

- Extensive experience in a copywriting role which includes copyediting and proofreading
- Able to develop and present creative concepts
- Experience of managing and motivating people
- Able to create compelling stories to bring brands to life
