The Service & Team:
The Cornwall Pension Fund is administered within Cornwall Council. We are a team of 30+ people based in Pydar House, Truro who support members and employers in the Local Government Pension Scheme within Cornwall.
The Role:
To ensure that the Employer Data Team of the Cornwall Pension Fund is run effectively and efficiently, with Data Quality being maintained at the highest level possible.
To process information and data provided by Cornwall Pension Fund employers and to supervise the Employer Data Team Officers within the team and monitor team workloads, to support the team in their roles
Providing advice, guidance and support to scheme employers relating to their responsibilities as participating employers in the Cornwall Pension Fund- Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) .
To assist the Employer Services Manager in ensuring that the Data Quality targets set for the Fund are met.
To provide management reports and statistics in relation to i-Connect and employer data for inclusion in reports to be submitted to the Pensions Committee and Local Pension Boards.
This role provides a range of administrative and data services for the pensions team that is important in developing and maintaining an accurate and efficient administration function in accordance with Cornwall Council’s statutory duty as the Administering Authority to the Cornwall Pension Fund.
The nature of the work of the team is constantly evolving, as changes to regulations are made and the needs of our participating employers alter. Along with other team members, the holder of this role is required to adapt and respond to the changing environment.
Please note this is a hybrid role and requires a minimum of 2 days a week working from Pydar House in Truro.
