The Service & Team:
The Early Years Service support inclusion and improve outcomes for children with long term and complex needs within their setting.
The Role:
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Nursery Nurse who is trained to Early Years Level 3 and has recent working experience of Inclusion and SEND. The role is within the Early Years Inclusion and SEND team and will involve supporting the Child Development Specialist Teacher, modelling interventions and strategies to ensure children in our early years provision reach their potential. This will be an outreach role in North Cornwall.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
This position will be subject to a criminal record disclosure check.
What you’ll need to succeed:
You will need to be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and SEND Code of practice graduated response. In order to reach the different settings you will need a full driving licence and a car. This is a part time permanent role for 20 hours per week term time.
