Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and a commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and manage medication regimens
Provide therapy and counseling to clients as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing with specialization in Psychiatry/Mental Health
Current license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Illinois
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred
