Job Title: Psychiatrist (1099 Independent Contract)
Location: Oak Park, Chicago (Hybrid Role)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to mental health care and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
Prescribe and manage medication regimens as appropriate
Provide therapy and counseling services to clients as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Psychiatry
Valid license to practice as a Psychiatrist in Illinois
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a psychiatrist
Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide evidence-based treatments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with telepsychiatry or willingness to learn is preferred
