Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in program management.
  
• 5 years of experience in consumer electronics.
  
• Experience with wireless technologies (e.g., Wireless Wide Area Network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS).
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  
• Experience in wireless design (e.g., RF, Antenna), testing, and certifications.
  
• Knowledge of electrical engineering (EE) systems, wireless/RF hardware development, manufacturing processes, and collaboration with Contract Manufacturers (CM).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead Google consumer hardware wireless hardware projects from product definition stage till design lock for mass production with cross-functional teams.
  
• Partner with RF, Antenna, Systems leadership, and more to streamline effectiveness.
  
• Provide structure and drive new technology introduction initiatives for wireless technologies.
  
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership, and lead teams on wireless related launch gating issues. 
  
• Interface with internal and external teams (e.g., compliance, carrier, and vendors) to support wireless team needs, schedule, and performance.
