Job Descrption

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in advertising effectiveness, market research, brand strategy, data science, or a related field.
  • Experience in Data analysis and project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with AI, programming, and prototyping, especially in the context of generative AI tools.
  • Experience as a promoter (e.g., account managers, video specialists).
  • Experience collaborating across teams at Google (cross-functional).
  • Knowledge of digital experimentation solutions (Google Video Experiments, A/B testing, Geo-splits test, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and YouTube Ads as well as competitors buying tools.
  • Excellent aptitude for client-facing communication and cross-functional stakeholder influence, including the ability to translate complex data insights and strategic guidance into presentations for audiences across diverse teams.

As YouTube’s media formats and products continue to evolve and new surfaces and experiences are introduced, new questions around what and how to create for the platform will emerge. Some of these questions can be answered with analyses based research, while others require deeper exploration due to product limitations or data requirements. As a result, Customer and Product Experimentation allows GPS to be the tip of the spear, providing first-to-market creative guidance around key questions for customers and sales teams at scale.

As the Global Product Solutions Experimentation Lead, you will be running the operations of a global creative experimentation program, which requires you to lead cross-functional and external conversations with key stakeholders and partners, all the while building towards creative learnings that will be scaled globally to help advertisers make the most of YouTube.

Global Solutions is the link between Google products and business. Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products. Working in one of three specialized areas – Performance, Brand, or Publisher & Platform – you'll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners to work their magic quickly and effectively. You are passionate about all things digital, and want to help shape the world of online advertising.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build the next generation of creative best practices and solutions.
  • Analyze results and use those insights to inspire advertisers and guide the evolution of YouTube's products.
  • Partner with GPSL, GTM, Pods, and UX to identify creative gaps and new growth opportunities within our current roadmaps. collaborate with ideal clients for testing innovative solutions and pave the way for innovation.
  • Influence advertising strategies. Collaborate with a diverse team of Data Scientists, Creative Directors, and Analysts to drive tangible business results across Google.
  • Work with traditional tools (brand lift, MMM) alongside experimental techniques, constantly expanding your expertise and impact.
