Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Experience in global category/commodity management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a Technical or Engineering field or MBA.
- Experience with large-scale electrical equipment and construction programs, related to data centers.
- Knowledge of international requirements, currency, tax, codes, and logistics issues.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, translating to relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Develop and execute commodity strategies through close collaboration with Google engineering and commodity teams.
- Conduct detailed agreement negotiations, including comprehensive agreements, and ensure capacity planning and supply-chain strategies are implemented to meet on time delivery.
- Drive Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotations (RFQs) and lead cross-functional teams with supplier selection process. Define cost drivers, develop cost models, and establish should cost analysis.
- Serve as a internal point of contact for all ongoing remediation and quality improvement programs, define multi-year Research and Development (R&D) efforts and implement supply chain and supply base improvements.
- Drive supply base improvement with supplier metrics and regular business reviews.
