About the roleAs a proactive member of our recently formed team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will spearhead diverse initiatives aimed at propelling sales, elevating the customer experience, and contributing significantly to Trustly's overall growth.

What you’ll do

  • Expertly create and manage both outbound and inbound sales channels, effectively generating leads and opportunities
  • Conduct thorough market analyses and formulate prospect plans tailored for enterprise customers
  • Develop strategic Sales Development plans targeted at enterprise customers
  • Collaborate closely with broader commercial teams to support and facilitate successful deal closures and provide regular progress updates and insights
  • Identify and create new qualified opportunities for the wider sales team
  • Take ownership of internal customer management tools, ensuring seamless operations
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration within the organization, driving improvements and enhancing the customer experience

Who you are

  • You possess a keen interest in pursuing a role within the commercial realm of a multinational corporation, and you bring at least one year of experience in sales, ideally in a capacity where you have demonstrated success in selling B2B products
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, showcasing a profound understanding of client needs
  • Proficiency in comprehending Trustly's API documentation and adeptly interacting with highly technical customers
  • Feedback-driven with a positive attitude, outstanding listening skills, and superior verbal and written communication abilities
  • Genuine curiosity about people and businesses, coupled with an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
  • Proven capability to operate independently while also contributing effectively as a collaborative team member, consistently engaging in outbound on a daily basis.
  • Preferably, you possess experience using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting applications; however, comprehensive training will be offered
  • Prior experience in the payment industry is preferred but not required
