Job DescriptionPurpose:Tax Accounting Analyst is a Shared Service Center Tax specialist role, which will assist with local/group tax reports, processes, and other tax matters.Key InterfaceCustomers/Partners in the region: Group Tax team including VP of Group Tax, local Tax and Finance teams, External/Internal Auditors, and other functions within the SSC.Key Roles & Responsibilities:• Preparation of computations of corporate income tax, deferred tax, indirect tax liabilities across different geographies (Africa, Middle East and Europe) and follow up the submission of Tax Returns• Preparation of periodic Group Tax Reports (Consolidated Tax Workings)• Preparation of year-end tax filings for group level entities• Preparation of tax accounting computations including uncertain tax positions, deferred tax impairments and purchase price accounting deferred tax• Tax administration including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance on quarterly and annual basis• Prepare and maintain documentation of... group income tax processes for SOX.• Maintaining the excel spreadsheets to include documentation of underlying processes and the maintenance of supporting documents.• Assist in the maintenance of tax compliance records for group companies.• Maintenance of documentation for group tax purposes such as transfer pricing.• Support tax audit activities across group companies• Prepare provision calculations with respect to Pillar 2 tax.• Participate in preparation for Pillar 2 tax compliance. Qualifications• 4-6 Years Working in a multinational enterprise or big 4 international tax experience.• Excellent knowledge and experience of tax computations abs accounting• Advanced Excel skills• Attention to detail.• People and communication skillsFunctional Competencies• CTA/ACA Qualified or Equivalent• Tax experience in multi-national complex environment• Experience in international tax advisory is desirable.• Experience in big 4 environment is desirable.• Problem SolvingOnly candidates based in UAE will be considered
