Job Descrption

The role will be responsible for financial administration, bookkeeping and accounting. It also has a focus towards process improvement and efficiency and managing and implementing change across a wide range of finance and accounting processes.

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:
• Recording and verification of incoming/ outgoing invoices
• Recording of general vouchers, accruals, provisions
• Creating and maintaining chart of accounts
• Preparing monthly reconciliations and financial statements
• Preparing monthly invoices to the customers (internal & external)
• Establishing well-documented systems for recordkeeping and accounting
• Preparing and computing VAT returns, complying with VAT requirements around payment and reporting
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and finance standards, best practices, and government regulations
• Accomplishing finance and organization targets by completing related results... as needed
• Actively supporting and participating in the projects like Corporate Taxation, Minimum Global Tax, Transfer Pricing, etc.

Requirements

The ideal Financial Accounting Internship candidate should meet the following requirements:
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Diligent and systematic approach to work
• Ability to work with numbers
• Good planning and time management
• Proactive and innovative
• Highly organized with a structured approach to the delivery of projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent ability to deal with pressure
• Willing to travel abroad
• Participation in various projects and tasks beyond own job responsibilities
• Fluent in English
• Knowing an additional language is an added advantage
• IT proficiency esp. Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and any relevant ERP
• Must possess a legal work permit in United Arab Emirates
