Urban Planning Engineer at Asterix Communications

Job Descrption
• Review master plans and make recommendations taking into consideration urban planning regulations and infrastructure needs, site specifications, amenities etc. from Urban Planning point of view.
• Review and Study assigned Planning Section Submissions.
• Review and advise on the Site Plan/Lease Plan submitted by developers.
• Review submissions from other sections within department which requires Urban Planning input and communicate Urban Planning requirements, comments and conditions from Urban Planning point of view.
• Update manuals/codes/regulation related to Master Plan when required.
• Co-ordinate between Customers, Developers, local authorities, consultants, contractors to assist in solving technical/Monitoring master plans progress and updating schedules as needed.
• Providing support and guidance to Planning section teams and other section throughout the planning process.
• Adhere to the section procedures and process for efficient and smooth functioning of... the section.
• Contribute to achievement of Department objectives by executing/achieving the KPIs assigned by line manager and submit relevant supporting documents during KPIs evaluation.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years' experience as an Urban Planning Engineer.
Bachelor's degree in urban planning (master's degree preferred).
Expertise in master planning, urban design principles, and Dubai regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Bilingual in English and Arabic (preferable).
