Policies, Processes & Procedures:

Responsible for implementing quality requirements as mentioned in the contractual documents for procurement activities associated with all structural and piping components including bulk materials and fabricated sections, for the assigned project. Ensure that product or service received from supplier/subcontractor are in compliance with applicable standards and specifications in accordance with Purchase orders and applicable project quality requirements.

Technical competencies:
• Graduate in Mechanical/ Production/ Metallurgy/ Material engineering or related field, required; master’s degree in engineering is preferred.
• Good project management and contract administrative skills.
• Sound knowledge and experience in marine, offshore oil & gas and renewable energy industry.
• Developing procedures and processes that lead to greater efficiency, overseeing project budgets, Attending tender interviews and assisting with project presentations.
• Skilled... in Contract, Cost and Risk Management.

Vendor Inspection coordination :
• Prepare inspection packages.
• Carryout supplier quality surveillance activities as per Criticality rating, Inspection levels and approved vendor ITPs.
• Coordinate with third party inspection agencies on vendor inspection
• Assign competent, qualified and appropriately experienced inspectors to inspection assignments.
• Reporting on status of VDRL and supplier quality inspection for the Project.
• Expedite vendor quality documents as per VDRL. Ensure necessary supplier documents have been approved prior to inspection visits
• Coordinate product/material inspection activities
• Review inspection outputs and highlight areas of concern
• Report non-conformances as identified and follow up with supplier/ subcontractor for close out of NCR.
• Ensure upload of inspection reports and releases to document management system
• Regular reporting of inspection status
• Liaise with the Client Quality Representative as appropriate
• Review and approve inspection release note and provide clearance prior to shipment (as needed)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month

• ISO 9001: 2015 Lead auditor, (Preferred)
• CompEx Certification. (Preferred)
• BGAS/ NACE Coating inspection certification (Preferred)
• IWE Certification; (Preferred)
• Level II or III in ASNT/PCN NDT methods (Preferred
