What you will do
As a new joiner at Oliver Wyman, you... will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects for large clients worldwide, developing your expertise quickly and making an immediate impact. You'll work alongside senior colleagues and clients, working as one to help to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.
We’re looking for motivated and ambitious final year students with quantitative backgrounds to join as Consultants directly into the Insurance and Asset Management Practice and focus on supporting our clients with Finance and Risk topics (e.g. risk management and financial strategy).
We believe in providing our consultants with the freedom and support they need to succeed in their own way. We provide an apprenticeship model for learning on the job, supplemented by formal training to help you rapidly develop your communication, presentation, and client management skills.

Who can apply?
• Applicants should be entering their final year of study towards Bachelor’s or postgraduate degrees
• We would welcome applications from people studying a range of subjects, but subjects particularly relevant for the type of work we do, given their quantitative nature, include: Actuarial Science, Economics/Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance/Financial Mathematics, Accounting and related degrees.
• We expect successful candidates will be on-course to achieve 2:1s or better in their final degree classification.
• We look for people who display initiative, intuition, and creativity with a strong problem solving and analytical mindset. We value extracurricular activities and evidence of leading an interesting and impactful life outside of your studies.
• Language skills: English (native/fluent)

We will be holding first-round interviews for this role at our offices in London on Monday 21st October, and second-round interviews the following week (week commencing 28th October).
