Job Title: Sales Representative – Events Coordination
Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports To: Sales Manager / Events Coordinator Manager
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative for Events Coordination is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities related to events such as conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, and other special occasions. This role focuses on building relationships with potential clients, promoting event services, and ensuring smooth coordination between the client and internal teams to deliver successful events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Client Acquisition:
• Identify and target new business opportunities in the events industry (corporate, private, and public sectors).
• Conduct sales presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
• Negotiate and close contracts with clients for event services.
• Event Coordination:
• Work... closely with internal event coordination teams to ensure client requirements are communicated and met.
• Assist in planning and overseeing event logistics to ensure all elements are aligned with the client's expectations.
• Coordinate with external vendors (catering, AV, decor, etc.) when needed.
• Act as a liaison between the client and the event team during the planning and execution phases.
• Market Research & Business Development:
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide input to marketing strategies for promoting event services.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company.
• Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to event completion.
• Address and resolve any client concerns or issues related to their event.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and event details.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide feedback on client needs and event performance.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the events industry.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of event planning processes and logistics is a plus.
• Other: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
