Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Accountant and Storekeeper. This role combines the responsibilities of maintaining accurate financial records and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in both accounting and storekeeping, a strong work ethic, and a passion for sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accountant Duties:
• Manage accounts payables and receivables, ensuring timely processing of... invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and process financial reports and statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and update financial records accordingly.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online or other accounting software for efficient financial management.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Support branch and franchise accounting processes (if applicable).
Storekeeper Duties:
• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Organize and manage the storage of materials, ensuring proper labeling and categorization.
• Oversee the dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure a smooth supply chain.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal inventory.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to prevent loss, theft, or damage.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and inventory management, preferably within the UAE.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced knowledge of Excel and VBA programming is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
