We’re recruiting ‘Ports & Cargo Operations Manager’ for one of our client based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Description:

In this role, we’re looking for someone who is responsible for overall management of port/cargo operations and stowage planning/vessel/transshipment for M.E./Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising vessel and terminal operations.
• Ensure all cargo is handled in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure subcontractors operate according to our requirements.
• Focus on efficient processes and continuous operational improvement.
• Accountable to ensure budgetary requirements are met.
• Pay all invoices related to port calls. Coordinate with shippers, customers, surveyors, and port authority officials about the import and export of shipments.
• Coordinate all vessel load lists, manifests, hazardous paperwork, fumigation lists with the port authority, stevedores, vendors and freight forwarders.
• Coordinate cut off dates with freight forwarders, approve late gates, and... resolve any fall downs in the supply chain structure of operations.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant field
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in related field
