Roles & Responsibilities
• Create detailed JOINERY SHOP DRAWINGS and provide accurate material lists for production. Specifically for doors, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall cladding and flooring.
• Expert in AutoCAD and coordination.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify design specifications and address any issues.
• Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of joinery components.
• Capable of creating 3D Renders.
• Ensure all joinery work is in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with production team to ensure timely completion of joinery projects.
• Attend site visits and meetings as required to gather necessary information for drafting and detailing.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in joinery drafting and detailing techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all joinery drawings... and revisions.
• Capable of preparing client presentations for tenders and projects using Microsoft PowerPoint.

Candidate should have a minimum of the following:
• Bachelors of Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a joinery draftsman and detailer.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other related software tools.
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction methods and materials.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in joinery drafting and detailing is a plus.
• Previous experience in the joinery industry is preferred.
