Job Title: Civil Draftsman with Joinery ExperienceLocation: Dubai, UAE
Job Description:

Impart Design is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman with experience in joinery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and layouts for our fit-out and interior design projects, with a particular focus on joinery works. The draftsman will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure that all designs are accurate and adhere to the project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed civil and joinery shop drawings for various fit-out and interior design projects.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and provide accurate technical drawings.
• Create detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) from drawings and material take-offs for joinery works.
• Modify drawings based on changes in project scope or client... requirements.
• Ensure drawings and plans are compliant with local building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments such as procurement and site execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Assist in the preparation of 3D models and visual presentations for clients, when necessary.
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements, verify designs, and ensure implementation matches the drawings.
• Ensure that all drawings and documents are properly filed and maintained in the project documentation system.
• Prepare as-built drawings post-project completion, reflecting any changes made during execution.

Required Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in drafting for fit-out and joinery works, ideally within the F&B or retail sectors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of joinery techniques and materials (wood, MDF, plywood, etc.).
• Familiarity with local building codes and standards.
• Experience in preparing BOQs and estimating material quantities.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with designers, engineers, and on-site teams.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Knowledge of 3D visualization software like SketchUp, Rhino, or 3ds Max.
• Experience in project coordination and working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design challenges
