Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Fashion Designer with a deep understanding of women’s fashion and a keen eye for design trends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, sketching, and developing innovative designs for our women’s collection. You will play a key role in driving the creative direction of the brand, translating fashion ideas into beautiful, market-ready designs.

Key... Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and sketch new designs for women’s wear, including dresses, casual wear, and seasonal collections.
• Stay updated with fashion trends, forecasting upcoming styles, colors, and fabrics that align with our brand’s aesthetic.
• Design and create mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concepts for collections.
• Develop detailed technical sketches and specification sheets to communicate design ideas effectively to pattern makers and production teams.
• Collaborate with fabric suppliers to select appropriate materials for each design.
• Ensure quality control in terms of design, fit, and final product execution.
• Conduct fittings and work closely with the production team to ensure the design vision is realized.
• Research target audience preferences, ensuring designs cater to market demand while maintaining brand identity.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of textile, material, and fabric innovations to elevate designs.
• Present design ideas to senior management for approval and feedback.
• Oversee production processes to ensure designs are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in women’s wear design with a reputable fashion brand or design house.
• Proficiency in sketching and illustration, preferably by hand, using digital software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and textile techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent fashion sense and creativity with a keen eye for detail.
• A portfolio showcasing original design work in women’s fashion.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of global fashion trends, particularly relevant to Dubai and the Middle Eastern market, is a plus.
