Description

We are looking for a Senior FP&A Manager to join our mission-driven team.  As an integral part of the Finance department reporting to the Financial Controller, you will join forces with the FP&A Manager (your direct report) in our continued effort to inspire people to eat more plants.

This role is a highly visible role in our business, with a unique opportunity to partner with every functional driver and support overall business goals. This position will play a critical role in moving the finance function forward by identifying trends and risks, reporting on financial performance, identifying opportunities, and making recommendations based on the data.

Location 

• This position is open to candidates local to Chicago (near one of our partner sites), or near our corporate HQ in Needham, MA to work in a hybrid model. 

On the Plate

• Own the financial model - partner with functional leaders (Operations, Marketing, Product and People Ops) and the Senior Leadership Team to provide visibility into forecast variances and financial impact of strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand how our planning and reporting activities support their goals and adjust as necessary.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities for the designated business segments by leveraging data driven insights.
• Drive the annual budget creation process, engaging with Accounting and other members of the FP&A team to align the business and various initiatives to support the goals.
• Optimize KPI reporting and internal financial reporting to senior management, ensuring accuracy and quality.  
• Invent and/or simplify existing FP&A processes to allow for more efficient planning cycles

Main Ingredients for the Role

• 5-7 years of FP&A experience with subscription, e-commerce, and/or manufacturing company 
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• MBA or CPA a plus
• Comfortable working with ambiguity
• High Business acumen, analytical with financial modeling 
• Experience with manufacturing workflow (ERP exposure preferred) 
• Excellent communication, written, and verbal
• Passionate about telling a story through data, and strong presentation experience to deliver financial packages to leadership and ownership

Extra Special Sauce 

• Proficient in Google Suite
• Experience building, orchestrating, manipulating, and maintaining data transformations using SQL
• Proficiency in Looker (LookML) or other BI Tools
