Job Descrption

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the day to day operations of the linen, uniform and laundry areas.

· Responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance of assigned areas as per standards.

· Revise daily work schedule according to occupancy.

· Inspect linen room, linen trolley and uniform room and ensure that these areas are clean and tidy.

· Follow up on repairs and maintenance of linen and uniforms.

· Maintain linen store room in a clean and efficient environment.

· Take linen and uniform inventories every 2 months.

· Recommend replacement by new purchases if needed.

· Investigates complaints from the guests and take corrective measures.

· Responsible for the efficient operation between the hotel and the uniform company.

· Attend meetings and follow up on relevant matters discussed.

· Be knowledgeable about fire and safety procedures and follow them.

· Check clean linen, store and issue as per schedule. Ensure that there is adequate supply of... linen in the Housekeeping Department for the use of room attendants at all times.

· Co-ordinate all linen and uniform exchanges between the hotel and the external laundry representative. Maintain accurate records at all times.

· Report any damages in the hotel linen and uniform by the external laundry and take corrective action as per contract terms.

· Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook.

· Comply with company grooming and uniform standards.

· Comply with timekeeping and attendance policies.

· Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self development.

· Contribute to Housekeeping Departmental Meetings
