Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Maintenance Foreman to oversee and manage a variety of maintenance and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gypsum installation, interlock paving, painting, tile work, and carpentry. This role involves supervising a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee renovation and maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of tradespeople, including carpenters, painters, and other maintenance staff. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure all work is performed to a high standard.
• Renovation Work: Oversee renovation projects, including structural modifications, installations, and upgrades. Ensure that work meets design specifications and quality standards.
• Gypsum Installation: Supervise the... installation and finishing of gypsum board, including drywall hanging, taping, and mudding.
• Interlock Paving: Manage and oversee the installation and maintenance of interlock paving, ensuring proper alignment and durability.
• Painting and Finishing: Supervise painting projects, including surface preparation, application, and finishing. Ensure a professional and clean finish.
• Tile Work: Oversee the installation of tiles in various settings, ensuring proper layout, alignment, and grouting.
• Carpentry: Supervise carpentry work, including framing, cabinetry, and custom woodwork. Ensure all carpentry work meets design specifications and industry standards.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
• Quality Control: Perform regular inspections of work performed to ensure it meets quality and performance standards. Address any issues or defects as needed.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, project managers, and team members. Provide regular updates on project progress and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in civil maintenance and renovation, with hands-on experience in gypsum installation, interlock paving, painting, tile work, and carpentry.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficient in various maintenance and renovation techniques. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction and renovation techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Education: Relevant educational background or certifications, e.g., high school diploma, technical certification, or vocational training in construction or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
