Job Title: Gypsum Carpenter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Gypsum Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing drywall, gypsum board, and other wall systems in both residential and commercial projects. You will work from blueprints, sketches, or detailed instructions to ensure precise installation, finishing, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and finish gypsum boards, drywall, and partitions.
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels accurately.
• Apply plaster, putty, or other compounds to cover seams or imperfections.
• Perform taping, sanding, and other finishing tasks for smooth surfaces.
• Follow project plans and blueprints for accurate work execution.
• Install metal and wood framing for drywall.
• Ensure quality control and meet safety standards on all projects.
• Work with other construction professionals to complete tasks on time.
• Repair existing drywall and gypsum structures as needed.

Qualifications:
•... Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or similar role.
• Strong understanding of drywall and gypsum board installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in gypsum installation.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and building codes.

Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in gypsum installation or a related field.
